TheWoWDBAt some point during one of the 5.0.5 maintenance patches recently, as of the date of this note, this quest has become bugged. Go ahead and kill the flame minions that come out of the portal until your bar turns red all the way to the right and Leyara, a Flame Druid, comes out and does her shtick. However, just hit her once, no more, and no dots, and then let Arch Druid and company take her down as you watch a few paces away. If you go all out or continue to hit over and over, it will bug and the process starts over. You can't kill Leyara anyway, just part of the show of opening the gate.

... except for that giant fiery staff she's carrying! *facepalm*
Spent 3 attempts just killing fire elementals and the fire druid, kept resetting after the druid ran away. I afked to look here for advice, and when I alt-tabbed back, the quest was completed.

Description
We appear to have everything under control. Our invasion portal to the Firelands will be opened momentarily, and the elementals have not put up much fight. Assist our druids by dispatching the last few of these elementals. Then, once the gate has been opened, we can make our move.
