Lead Agrul to the smelly dirt marked on the map and he will pound the ground revealing the spores to collect. In my experience I didn't find one from every pile.
lol i love how they made this quest incompletable. I went to every smelly dirt, didnt get spores from each one, stuck at 5/6 and they are not respawning. Classic Blizz.

Description
The niffen say that sniffin' mice have great noses. They can make their way through the caverns and track down the fastest racing snails. Even sniff out glow spores ready for harvest. But I have a good nose, too. Maybe I could even sniff out those glow spores! Let's collect the harvest for the hermit. That will show him it's okay that his mouse friend isn't here--because I can fill in!
