Breaking the Hand

Breaking the Hand is a Horde-only quest for level 7-30 in Hillsbrad Foothills. It is step 26 of 39 in the Hillsbrad Foothills storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hillsbrad Foothills at 57.1, 46.2. It rewards 4 reward items, 2 reputation rewards and 5,150 experience.

Description

We must break the fingers of the Stormpike if we are to stop their incursion.

<Cromush hands you a small package.>

Within this package are four high-yield goblin explosives. You are to infiltrate each of the four fingers - Sofera's Naze, Corrahn's Dagger, the Headland and Gavin's Naze - and plant a goblin pocket-nuke at each.

Once you have done that - as well as all that Melisara asks of you - return to me.

You must be inside the Captain's tent on Corrahn's Dagger to place the nuke, despite what the item says about campsites. The Headland has it placed at the single tent near the base of the finger, while Gavin's Naze is under the giant gear near the tip.

I was able to kill all six of them on my 29 hunter. Pet on one, scatter shot on second, kill third. Switch to pet's target, pet changed to another target. So on. Used immolation trap before pull(had not learnt freezing trap yet), Fervor & Disengage midfight. Proper way to do it is to follow this quest chain while planting explosives: If you do S
