You do not actually have to walk with them, you can proceed ahead (at least as of today September 22nd)

This bugged out for me on one of my beta characters and there was no indicator where the second stop was. I dropped the quest and grabbed it again, but if you are looking for the second stop, it's in the middle of the widest river, to the west of Rsza'thar Reach, and to the northeast of Maruukai, Ohn'ahran Plains. There is small 'island' where the caravan stops.
You can hitch a ride on the Bakar (dog-looking beasts) so you don't have to walk slowly with them.

Description

I hope you don't mind getting your feet wet. The next leg of our journey will take us across two rivers. Ohn Seshteng would like to share a story with you about our blessed watcher, Ohn'ahra. I happily leave you under her watch.
