As of today (3/17/2013), the posting for Champions type is incorrect. The correct Champion listing is as follows:

Lightning

Primal

Spirit

A complete list of their abilities can be found in the Wowhead 5.2 - Isle of Thunder, Summoned Elites Guide

The two I've experienced/completed thus far:

Cera is a Primal Champion located in a small cave on the west coast of the Isle of Thunder.
The cave is reached by water. Approximate coords 31, 46.

Notes of importance:
-Requires 3x[item=94221] to summon.
-Counts as a Primal Champion for the quest Champions of the Thunder King.
-Cannot be completed as a raid group.
-Five players recommended (currently). Healer necessary. Tank necessary to a point. A plate DPS holding aggro and a competent healer with suffice.
- Primary abilities: frontal cone attack (has ground effect). Cleave attacks.

----------------------------------------------

Electromancer Ju'le is a Lightning Champion located in the structure in the center of the first stage area of Isle of Thunder. Just northwest of Diremoor text on the map. Look for the outside platform with a spiral lightning rod statue.

Notes of importance:
-Requires 3x [item=94221] to summon.
-Counts as a Lightning Champion for the quest Champions of the Thunder King.
-Cannot be completed as a raid group.
-Five players recommended (currently). Healer necessary. Tank necessary to a point. A plate DPS holding aggro and a competent healer with suffice.
- Primary abilities: Ground AOE that should be avoided. Dishes out a debuff that deals damage over time and stacks. One stack is easily healed, but once you reach two-three stacks you will want to click on the lightning rod -once- to clear your stacks. Doing so spawns an elemental that should be focused down.

Kros from the previous quest in the chain counts towards the spirit beast portion of this one. He's easier than the spirit beast you'd otherwise have to summon (the stone is in the same location as where you summon Kros slightly East).

Just help out with a Kros group and kill him again and you'll get credit for the spirit portion, without using your own stones.

What to do

Description

This island is riddled with lurking threats from three powerful groups, waiting for the chance to pounce on us. Masters of lightning, ancient and powerful spirits, and primal Zandalari monstrosities. If you can get your hands on some of the Shan'ze Ritual Stones scattered across the isle, you should be able to beckon these powerful opponents out of hiding and strike out at them. Find and destroy members of each group to keep them destabilized, and I will make it worth your time.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
