Description

Our scouting efforts along the coast have given us valuable intelligence about the island, <class>.

However, we will accomplish nothing if we do not advance forward onto the mainland.

I have assembled a team of our most elite aerial units to begin the attack.

I would like you to join the assault. A champion such as yourself could turn the battle in our favor at the critical moment.

When you are ready to begin the attack, speak to me.

This might be an "everyone knows that" kind of thing, but I didn't know, so I thought I'd post this:
If you are like me and don't raid or even group, like, ever, don't be scared of this. You aren't in a group. That's what a solo instance is, I guess. It still is hard, but you aren't grouped. Just to clarify.

Starts at [npc=67992] on the Isle of Thunder.

Is a solo instance for Stage 2 in the Kirin Tor Offensive.

Stages for Instance are as follows:

Stage 1: Rendezvous with Ranger General [npc=67993]

  2. 0/1 Ride the Silver Covenant Hippogryph

  4. 0/1 Fly with Ranger General [npc=67993] over the island.

Stage 2: Survive the Attack (paraphrased as I didn't get a screenshot)

Stage 3: Destroy the Barricades

  2. 0/1 Destroy the Barricades and its defenders.

Stage 4: Kill [npc=69531] and [npc=69532]

  2. 0/1 Kill [npc=69531]

  4. 0/1 Kill [npc=69532]

Final Stage: [npc=69538] and his Spirit Mask

  2. 0/1 Kill [npc=69538] and his Spirit Mask

Notes:
For Stage 4, you must first kill Anki, and once he is dead, Pakutesh will dismount and become attackable.

For Arcanital Mara'kah, you need to fight inside the protective shield as the Spirit Mask casts [spell=140315] which does a LOT of damage per second as well as silences your spells.

Also, there is a potion on the table underneath where the Spirit Mask originally was that will cast an HoT spell on you which will be beneficial if you are low on health.

  • Champions of the Thunder KingIsle of Thunder · Level 32-35

This island is riddled with lurking threats from three powerful groups, waiting for the chance to pounce on us. Masters of lightning, ancient and powerful spirits, and primal Zandalari monstrosities.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Tear Down This Wall!Isle of Thunder · Level 32-35

The time has come. Our forces are well-enough entrenched here that we can risk pressing forward, into the Thunder King's lair. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like he'll be opening that gate anytime soon. I suppose we'll have to make a gate of our own then. Let me know when you're ready, <name>.
