It also appears to be bugged. Twice now I can't complete it because the Fel Spreaders despawn after I cure 8 Fighters. I tried /reloading, disabling mods, zone hopping, doing another quest and coming back, even removing cache and restarting my PC. Nothing will let me complete this high AP quest.

Same here - the Fel Spreaders despawned for me, too, but only when I reached 4/5 destroyed. I had cured 8 Legionfall Fighters, then destroyed 2 more Fel Spreaders (taking me to 4/5), then they all despawned so I was 1 short. That happened to my priest twice that I can recall.
