This quest is bugged for me - I cannot ride Flytrap (no dialogue option is provided) and when I drag the corpse back to the yellow circle, no completion credit is given. Submitted a ticket for review but if anyone finds ways to get it done, please reply!
Edit: Bashonarie's response below was 100% correct - you absolutely need to mount up on Flytrap. If you can't find the button to do so, check your action bars - it will be the same place that you put Chordy's action bar previously.
I was able to complete the quest by moving the carcass around the circle in every possible direction and position. It seems to be a very tiny completion zone at the moment. I also could not ride Flytrap though. There is no dialogue or interaction as you stated. ::edit:: I figured it out. You may have moved the "Construct Ability" from Chordy to your bar. It will replace his ability with the mount ability while flytrap is your guardian. The same goes for the other abominations abilities.
