TheWoWDBI'm not sure if this works for everyone, but I had the best luck getting the nodes to show up if I stood perfectly still while Chordy ran around. Previously I had been running after him and maybe 75% of the time no node would spawn, but I was getting nodes 100% of the time when I stood still.

Whoever made this quest, know that i despise you with my everything i am.
After searching around various places in Ardenweald, I found that you have to search in the spot at 48,53 on the map. It's the location on the east side of the Heart of the Forest, just on the right side of the ramp. Good luck! It's just to the west of the Refugee Camp flight path. It was my experience that I found the Valuable Salvage about 80% of the searches.

Description
Chordy want to go on adventure! You want to go too, yes? I scavenge, weapons, armor, and valuable luckydos! Though, luckydos seem to be in short supply these days. We go to land of tree people! If we search together, we'll find many luckydos!
