Cultists at our Doorstep

Cultists at our Doorstep is an Alliance-only quest for level 15-30 in Blasted Lands. It is step 7 of 56 in the Blasted Lands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Blasted Lands at 63.2, 16.9. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

You may have already run into some of the Shadowsworn cultists that dwell in the caves just to the southwest of Nethergarde. They do not impress an immediate danger upon our fortress, but I fear that they are planning something more dreadful than you can imagine.

The low-ranking members carry spell foci that might hold an answer. Bring some back to me intact, if you can wrench them from the cultists' hands.

The cultists you need to kill are just south of Nethergarde Keep, many around a wrecked ballista.

Watch out-if you can't one-shot them (about 2700HP), they have a leap-at-you attack with very long range, and an explosion at the end. Watch out clothies!

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Watcher Mahar BaBlasted Lands · Level 15-30

It's time for you to visit the Watcher. He's been in a bit of a mood lately, and I'm not quite sure why. Head up to the top of the mage tower and check in with him. I don't have any work for you here, but I'm certain that he will.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Kasim SharimBlasted Lands · Level 15-30

I need you to pass on a message for me. Kasim Sharim is an old blood mage that knows a great deal about the demons of the Blasted Lands. Though you wouldn't know from looking at him, he's quite old, and very powerful... if a little eccentric.
