The ancient is covered with Dreamleaves that you need to pluck. There is 8 of them and as you click them you jump on him and remove them. As Stravanov points out some of them can be a little tricky to see and pluck - especially the one in his mouth. He opens his mouth a little every once in a while. I got it by random clicking his mouth :-)
