TheWoWDBThis quest bugged out for me in live. There were two Jarods for a moment, then both despawned before I could accept the follow-up quests. Eventually, Kur'talos despawned and Jarod respawned, and I was able to accept them.

If Jarod does end up phasing out for you, exit via the stairs and into the graveyard. Go straight ahead and inspect Theryssia's plaque. After she spawns and killing her, make your way back down to where Jarod was and he should be back. Hope this helps!
In the beta, waiting too long to turn the quest in after Jarod stops speaking causes him to disappear and renders you unable to complete the quest and move on. Abandoning the quest makes him reappear so you can try again.
