Elune's Gifts

Elune's Gifts is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Desolace. It is step 3 of 63 in the Desolace storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Desolace at 66.4, 11.8. It rewards 4 reward items, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Simply intolerable!

Satyrs of all things, desecrating our sacred lands...

Their days are numbered, <race>. I can assure you of that. As soon as we have the numbers, I shall lead a charge that will rid this land of the wicked creatures.

For now, though, perhaps you could put my mind at ease?

Travel just east of here to Sargeron and scour the ruins. Find the relics of Elune and ensure that they are in good condition.

I'll pay you well for this favor.

78.45 22.60 is the brazier
76.34 26.08 is the handmaiden

there are 3 quest you can get from each one of these if you want to take them.

Lots of 30-31 saytr's around, and some of them are rogue's they do disappear on you so watch out. Otherwise pretty simple.

It took me maybe 10-15 minutes max (killing everything in sight) to do all three of the altar quests then hearth back to turn in the original quest. Of course, if it moves I'll prolly kill it, so that may not be helpful.

I found the sword drop rates sucked on the mobs, but the racks respawned fairly quickly. The satyr meat had a good drop rate, though.

IMO, aside from the melon quest, the other two collecting satyr flesh and swords are not worth the time to do. They take forever. Low drop rates, and the racks only have 3 swords max. Better exp if you turn in the quest for finding the altars and then doing those instead.
