Furien's Footsteps

Furien's Footsteps is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in Desolace. It is step 16 of 63 in the Desolace storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Desolace at 69.3, 29.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

You can decipher bits and pieces of the text, but it will require extensive study before Furien's work becomes coherent.

For now, as you look off to the northeast, you think you can make out some of the ruins depicted in the journal.

From what you can tell, these ruins seem to have been of some significance to Furien's research.

So it's true.... The parchment you discovered in Thunder Axe Fortress details a powerful summoning ritual. One stronger than the Burning Blade have ever been known to possess. Clearly, this rite must be stopped at all costs!

The markings on the Sargeron ruins, combined with what you've gleaned from Furien's text make one thing clear: There is something special about the old fountain in the Sanctuary of Elune. It would seem that one could expect special power from washing their face in the fountain.
