As of the new shattering patch it seems he has vanished I have a ticket in now.
Update:Currently in game the map and the minimap shows him in his old location down by where the water is. He has moved to Farstrider Lodge Located at the far East of Loch Modan
Bingles is now at The Farstrider Lodge (81.7, 64.6) for Cataclysm. For those w/o coords mod, click on "? End: Bingles Blastenheimer" on the right to see the map of his new location. Good move because there are a few other unrelated quests up here. Before Cataclysm (BC hehe), I don't think there were any other quest chains that led you the lodge. I found the place the first time while working on Loremaster for my main.

We've lost contact with Bingles! He was sent on a reconnaissance mission over Gnomeregan and hasn't reported back in over a week. I just know he's gone and blown himself up. He was last seen flying over the Loch. Perhaps you can investigate, {name}.
