TheWoWDBJust did this and its bugged....could not get a check mark on the freed frostwolves, made a ticket but with a 5 day wait, i guess it's not going to matter. Just did the bonus on another toon, this time my Paladin, and it's still broken...Patch 6.2 and still broken?

That happened to me, too. So I left the bonus area then came back. I got the reward then. Try it.
This is still bugged but in a different way then for the previous commenters. I just completed this and although it showed as all the objectives were fulfilled (including the frostwolves freed), I did not get completion credit. If this happens to you, just leave the area (run a few yards away until your map no longer says Grimfrost Hill) and then run back into the area. That fixed it for me and it gave me the completion rewards.
While lag may be to blame for some of these occurrences, in my case I had no lag and there was no one else in the area, unlike the first few weeks of the expansion. lol
