I'll Call Him Bitey

I'll Call Him Bitey is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Wetlands. It is step 22 of 40 in the Wetlands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Wetlands at 26.8, 25.9. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Have you heard some raptors are intelligent enough to be domesticated? It's true! I've seen hunters tame them.

It gets quite lonely out here, you know, even with Wenna to keep me company... a pet's just what I need to brighten my spirits. A little baby raptor would be the best!

If you're out there slaughtering the adults, would you mind bringing me back some mature eggs? You can tell if they're ready to hatch by the wobbling.

Video was removed, but for anyone who doesn't know (of -course- you know!), this quest is definitely a reference to the Simpsons episode where Springfield gets a lot of money and end up spending it on a faulty, useless monorail. They were like a mule with a spinning wheel!

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Dinosaur CrisisWetlands · Level 10-30

We've been getting more and more reports of raptor attacks in the area. I'm seeing to it that this place is safe enough for more settlement to start occuring, so I've put a bounty on the buggers. A lot have been cleared out already, but the Highland raptors to the north have been growing in number.

I've skinned crocs in the wetlands for years, <class>. Things have changed though. You see, not to bore you with a sob story, but when the cataclysm flooded Menethil Harbor, our house went with it.
