Just did this quest as a lvl 80 druid. Killed the multiple Enraged Foulweald with ease, and thought that the quest had bugged. It took nearly thirty full seconds before Murgut appeared. If he doesn't come out, don't give up for a bit!

This is bugged as of Shadowlands Pre-Patch. Spent over ten minutes with an infinite number of enraged firbolgs attacking the mound with the chief never appearing.
It took us ~ 2:00 minutes for him to show up. I thought the quest was bugged. But we sat there patiently. He eventually showed up. Late though!

What to do
Description
I care little for who you are, {race}. What I do care about is the salvation of the furbolg. Take this Bloodtooth tribe banner a short ways northeast into Greenpaw Village and place it upon their totem mound. They will consider this an act of aggression and try to destroy the banner. Hold your ground until their chief, Murgut, appears to save face for the tribe, then kill the traitor! Govern your strength wisely, friend, you're in for a long fight.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Dartol's Rod
I'm not completely certain what Teronis had in mind next, but if what he said was true about the rod's power, then it will allow you to take on another form altogether, presumably that of a furbolg.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A New Adornment
I'm certain that the long-dead wizard, Dartol, intended to use his rod to subjugate and destroy us just as the night elves and orcs have, but I think now we'll put that thing to an unintended use. Ran Bloodtooth is the king of all of the Ashenvale furbolg.
