The Forest Heart

The Forest Heart is an Alliance-only quest for level 7-30 in Ashenvale. It is step 50 of 50 in the Ashenvale, Alliance storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ashenvale at 83.8, 63.1. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 5,150 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

You must get the Forest Heart to Gnarl at all costs!

Down at the bottom of the Dor'Danil Barrow Den it sits, corrupted by the Horde. Only Gnarl can cleanse it.

In order to move it, though, you'll need a Power of Nature. If you collect enough untainted spirits from the Severed druids and keepers, the spirits can be combined into a Power of Nature.

Good luck, <name>!

The forest heart was corruped by horde players doing the quest "Pierce there heart!" where the horde player pours night elf blood that was tainted by an Orc warlock who is really a demon.

The demon is killed later by the same horde character in the quest "Dread head redemption".
