Learning the Ropes is an Alliance-only quest for level 1-90. It rewards money.
Now that you are a pet trainer, it's time to test your skills!
Head out into the forest and pick a fight with a battle pet. Make sure to use your Track Pets skill so you can see pets you can fight on the minimap. Come back to me after you have won and I will continue your training. Good luck!

If you are having a tough time locating pets to battle, make sure you've enabled the Track Pets feature through the magnifying glass icon next to your map.
Turn on TRACK PETS on your spy glass next to minimap .. took me a while .. then you will see pets on your minimap and can do battles.
Look for an animal with a green paw symbol over it (you can also see these on the mini-map).
Then just right click on it and off you go.
It's turn based and at the start you only have one attack, so just keep hitting 1 until you win.
Have Fun! :-)
