Learning the Ropes is a Horde-only quest for level 1-90. It rewards money.
Now that you are a pet trainer, it's time to test your skills!
Head out into the forest and pick a fight with a battle pet. Come back to me after you have won and I will continue your training. Good luck!

Look for the green paw over an animal.
Don't laugh but I am so noob at pet battles I kept right clicking & killing beetles near Narzak. I came here to no advice drove me crazy till I finally found a critter with a green paw over his head.
You only have one skill at the start so after right clicking the green paw just spam 1 till you win gg.
I have won a ton of pet battles, including the first 3 battle masters and can not finish this quest. Is there a certain there a certain critter you need to defeat?
This entire quest set is severely bugged in one way: although the game allows trial accounts to receive the initial Quest, any attempt to start a pet battle ALWAYS FAILS.
