Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

• Citizens' ArmySuramar · Level 45

I can barely get these civilians to stand in a straight line. They are untrained, undisciplined, and underarmed. Still, they need to be ready for the real battle. Khadgar suggested we try some field training at the ruins of Black Rook Hold in Val'sharah.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

• Trial by DemonfireSuramar · Level 45

We are out of time. I have reports that a pitlord has come to Meredil. I have dispatched a strike force. We cannot let this demon flank our army here, nor can we let him find Shal'Aran. It is time to temper these recruits in a real battle.
