Mysterious Hat is a quest for level 40. It rewards 1,350 experience and money.
Energy flows from this mystical hat with an unseen strength. It hums as it drifts back and forward in time where it rests on the ground.
This is the sort of object that someone at Khadgar's Tower would find very interesting.

Prints out four lines in chat saying either true or false, true means that you have completed the quest.
Beware, after patch 9.0, you won't be able to see the Mysterious Hat when you are in Chromie Time. Once you turn Chromie Time off you can use your garrison hearth stone (assuming you obtained one already) to get to Dreanor, then fly to Shattrath City area to pick up the hat. I don't know what the lowest level is to pick up this hat, but can confirm you can pick up the hat at Level 45.
Bear in mind that the Nagrand portion may be dysfunctional until there is a way to distinguish between Outland Nagrand and Draenor Nagrand. Until then, simply remove "Nagrand" from the line, then run it while you are in the zone.
