TheWoWDBIn Old Hillsbrad despite it is only 7 years ago you see Whitemane and several other bosses from SM as young children. Apparently we've been fighting kids in SM this whole time. Even adding 7 years to what they look like in Old Hillsbrad none of the bosses in SM should even be legally able to drink in the U.S.
I can't believe a 14-year old wiped my whole party. :-(

Old Hillsbrad is the first instance you are allowed to enter in the caverns and is very insightful as to warcraft lore. If you go to the southshore inn you will hear a story of the origins of Ashbringer. But mainly, Old Hillsbrad is for rescueing Thrall from the orc internment camp known as Durnholde Keep. If you do not rescue him, the world will cease to exist.

Description
To the west is the timeway to Hillsbrad of the past - 7 years to be exact. Forces are working against the Horde warchief, Thrall, attempting to prevent him from ever escaping Durnholde Keep. If Thrall never escapes, this world - as you know it - will cease to exist. Gather a group of adventurers and take the timeway to old Hillsbrad. Two of our agents await you inside. Speak with Erozion on the other side.

Deep within the Caverns of Time, the brooding dragon Nozdormu has awakened. Since the world was young, the bronze dragonflight has safeguarded the winding labyrinth, monitoring the shifting timeways to ensure that the delicate balance of time is upheld.
