Perfect Yeti Hide is a Horde-only quest for level 15-30 in Feralas. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 5,150 experience and money.
You have found what may very well be a perfect yeti hide. You easily note that it is exceptionally thick and sturdy - more so than even the ones you've seen from the yeti in Rage Scar.
Considering that Jangdor Swiftstrider at Stonemaul Hold is in the market for yeti hides, this particular one may be of considerable interest to him.

Actually, the letter mentioned above is a reward from Improved Quality. I read this and thought I had already completed this quest based on this information.
I had to complete this drop quest to get the achievement because of several quests that weren't obtainable having gotten Loremaster prior to 4.0.
If you are stuck at 44/45 quests for your Feralas Quests achievement towards Loremaster, this is the one you need. Kill the yetis til the quest item drops. Turn in, get cheev.

Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.
