Perfection

Description

Perfection can be achieved through repetition. Every single student in the training arena below will eventually perfect his or her form... assuming they don't give up first. This is a fact.

I encourage you to join them, <name>. As an honorary guest of the monastery, you are not required to perform the requisite 10,000 daily strikes. Simply follow the leader's example for a few minutes.

Just completed this quest. A few hints to help out:


  • The punch is easy to see, he is obviously throwing his fist out.


  • Kick got me a bit, because it look like he's butt slamming and jumping back up. Could have been how I had the camera set up, but it was a bit confusing.


  • The Growl button should be used when the head of the instructor is thrown back.

Also as the others have stated please make sure you wait until the students start their actions before you hit your buttons. If you try to be the "Star pupil" and do it first, you don't get credit. No body wants to do these movements 12 times, let alone 20 if you don't watch your timing =)

Once you accept the quest from Instructor Xann, go down the staircase into The Practice Pit. You will notice that your action bars have changed to three main abilities: Punch, Kick, and Growl.

To complete this quest, you need to follow what the Chun Tian Instructor does. Each ability has a different animation, and you have a fairly generous time frame to follow up with the correct move. Just complete this 12 times (it does not have to be in a row) and you will be done the quest.
