Description

Our trusty cook, Cooktholomew, was lost at sea. Quite tragic that was, but now all the more tragic for us here! We don't dare set sail again without the lucky feast ol' Cooktholomew would prepare for us before each voyage.

We've tried to make out his scribbles, but alas, we only managed to make the ink run.

Me matey here swears he heard Cooktholomew say once he only brought copies out to sea. If that be true, the originals must be back in Booty Bay, somewhere near his bunk!

This Quest becomes: Pirate Gastronomy (which does not exist as of writing this)

Speaking to Scowling Rosa in Booty Bay gives you a translated Boonful Banquet, which needs to be figured out.
Thank fully you can ask Maru for hints.
Maru's hints run as follows.

Shadow leaf translates to Rogue Thistle which sounds like Swiftthistle
Daffy Juice Berries translates to Banana Rum Berries which sounds like Witchberries
Blaze Gasping Ice Pods translates to Fire Breathing Chilli Sacks which sounds like small flame sacs
Koatini's Grease translates to Koatini's Oil which sounds like Aromatic Fish Oil (either buy from Koatini or extract yourself from fishing skill I suggest Boralus)
Ghost Breath Mouser Brine translates to Deadwind Catfish which sounds like Bloodfin Catfish (AH or fishing in Deadwind Pass)
Bumper Flower Brinestock translates to Giant growth fish which sounds like (Deviate Fish)
Sholazar rolls translates to Sholazar Nettles which sounds like Nettle fish in Sholazar Basin (Go fishing yourself or buy in AH)
Hummock Jaypops translates to Highland Crawdaddies sounds like Furious Crawdads (fished from Terokkar Forest)

This is my first comment on Wowhead so apologies for formatting errors. I will update the unknowns as I come across them.

This is now updated on it's own page.

A helpful addendum to the top post:
After you get the notes from the barrel, go back to Kelsey Yance
/way #210 42.81 68.97 Kelsey Yance
and speak to him. He will tell you he can't translate but he knows who can.
THIS will cause the golden question mark on Rosa and make her easier to find.
I found her by the bank, not at the coordinates given.
Hope this helps!
