If you are rejoining a covenant you previously were a part of and picked up this quest, upon turning in the second week portion of this quest, you CANNOT pickup prove your worth again if you decide to swap back to something else. It seems to have an internal cooldown before you can pick up Prove Your Worth again. Which wasn't documented anywhere

I just completed this quest by doing rare elites and world quests in Maldraxxus. Upon returning to Oribos to turn in the quest I got no follow-up, but were instead told by the NPC to return at a later date. Apparently the Necrolords are going to "discuss among themselves" if I am worthy or not.
I can only speculate that this means that I will be able to switch Covenants after reset - either daily or weekly.
So just to clear some things up here. You will not get the next quest until AFTER the weekly reset. Can confirm this because not only did they give me this answer in a ticket I put in but also can confirm from people that have done it multiple times that is how it works.
