Quest is badly bugged. It only activates from way south of the map marker, also the firestick I got didn't work on the bugs. It pulled them nps, but then they ignored it and started beating hell out of me. good luck if you try this one.
Might have finally sorted this out.
- Go south from the map marker, across the rivulet (like, around the skeleton).
- Make sure the firestick shows up in inventory (diamond-headed flaming spear icon); this can be equipped on your action bars for use.
- Destroy the nests just by pointing the stick (pointing yourself) at them and activating.
- Damage the ticks by selecting them and activating the firestick. It seems to take about 25% health off them. It does not act as a normal wide-cone flamethrower.
- Beat up ticks.
The animations and fire effect worked very poorly in Bear Druid form, but seemed to be effective anyway.
Quest is bugged on alliance side.
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Quests whose map markers the client places closest to this one on Nazmir, nearest first. Distances are straight lines between the markers.
Flight points closest to the quest’s first objective area marker on Nazmir:
Straight-line distances in yards between the quest’s own map markers (QuestPOI) and the client’s flight-point positions (TaxiNodes); flight paths and terrain are not modelled.
First seen in build 12.0.7.68887 (Midnight patch 12.0.7, the oldest build in our datamine).
Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
Completing this quest counts toward this achievement.
