TheWoWDBI will admit, seeing the drop requirement of "35" made me shout a large "NOPE".
This quest isn't nearly as horrific as it use to be. Many people recall spending hours trying to hunt down Pteradox for the very low chance of getting a single drop. It ranked right up there with collecting Mountain Lion Blood and fishing for boar livers back in the day before leveling changes let you skip a lot of quests.
This time around, the Pteradox are literally everywhere, and you'll only have to hoof a few steps out to start collecting scales. Every Pteradox will drop 2-5 scales, and it shouldn't take more than seven minutes for the entire quest.

Abandon this quest if you didn't complete Speak With Spraggle chains.
Because if you completed this quest before Speak With Spraggle (or just have this quest) , it becomes not to appear.

Description
I'm making a flying machine! I got stranded here, and I'm absolutely horrible at finding my way around. I'd take a gryphon or wind rider back to Gadgetzan, but those beasts just scare me to death. So, will you help me? All I have left to build is the wings, and I was thinking that the webby scales from the pterrordax in the Screaming Reaches to the west would be perfect. There's no way I'm going to go up against one of those, but you look pretty tough. Why don't you give it a try?
