TheWoWDBTried to solo it tonight for the transmog reward. Did it once on both mythic and heroic. I didn't get credit for killing Viq'goth in any of the runs. Not sure what the issue is.
In hindsight, I should have tried to hit the boss once. I was only dealing with the tentacles/cannons.

[npc=141591] is in the section of the dungeon with the monkeys, after [npc=129208] , but before [npc=130836]. For me the quest was bugged as we killed the last boss first and then went back to kill Tara and did not get credit for killing Viq'goth.
