I just tried to complete this wq,but it seems bugged, normally you need to save 5 people from Ashvane forces before the first boss.

Civilians can be found in the first area, and on the way to the first boss. You have to kill the enemies standing around them before it counts. I couldn't see any extra civilians at least, so you probably have to save each one you see.

make sure you tag the last boss, easy to forget when you are soloing. you will get instance credit but not the quest credit.
