TheWoWDBThis was a super easy quest to complete. Going to the designated quest area the item drops from [npc=159856], which have a quick respawn and is generally a great area to farm leather, regardless of whether the world quest is active here or not.
With max skinning, after roughly 10 minutes of running in circles dotting up mobs and following behind others to skin their kills I received:

Either have the item prebought from the AH or only do this World Quest if you are farming mats.
This is the kind of quest where Enchant Gloves - Shadowlands Gathering comes in handy, as the drop rate of the carapaces is a little on the lower side.
