Description

My brightest apprentice, you return to me at last!

You worried me--you see, I heard the loudest clatter while working on one of my experiments... Before I knew it, I was here, and you'd disappeared!

Wherever you went is no matter. You're back now, and we have much to do!

Come, my apprentice--we must fetch our ingredients first.

Can you smell the spores germinating around us? We should pull some up to use in our endeavors!

The quest item can be found among some of the tall grass-like growth in the area. Locations are shown on the minimap (Edit: May require Herbalism)

You have to click on the item, wait for the cast to finish, and then walk away from it until you fall over to get quest credit.

If you remember Tangled Crops from Sunsong Ranch in Pandaria, it works like that.

I have to say this was as intuitive as scratching your nose with a shovel - in the world of making a special pin for quests, this was vanilla-material .

The lighted plant you see in the picture does NOT appear right now on live server.

Just cross your mouse over the plants until you see the grab hand. They're there... You just don't see them popping. At all.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Bug BitesMaldraxxus · Level 10-54

Margrave Stradama eagerly awaits the completion of our latest potion! However, I seem to have misplaced my stockpile of venom sacs. How embarrassing! I have felt a touch out of sorts lately... Would you please do me a favor and fetch some more? We cannot continue our work without them!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Slime, Anyone?Maldraxxus · Level 10-54

While I know we're both eager to complete our potion, I believe the best lesson I can share with you is patience. Patience and slimes, of course! With the help of slimes, we'll have our laboratory back in working condition. It's just as I taught you: combine your ingredients in the cauldron.
