The phrase "an elekk dancing with riverbeasts" in the quest text seems like a Fantasia reference to me.
There's some bug with this, I saw the videos from people doing this quest and mine behaves completely different, the blooms only show for an instant with a Zzz symbol and then disapear, making it impossible to catch, they also take a lot of time to apear again. Very strange
