First, IGNORE the video above. It is out of date. Now you get Tidecaller, who hits you with tidal bombs and bolts, the brute will come out with a chip on its shoulder, and there are a short ton of Naga around. This last is why I say this quest is the most DISHONEST piece of Blizz game play I've encountered yet (L60 Fury Warrior), and that's saying a lot. You do have Nisha who will help you clear out Naga supporters; the only problem is, they respawn faster than crayfish in heat. So why do I say it's DISHONEST? Because the scenario is one in which the plan is some variant of (a) kill off the supporters of the villain, and (b) execute a plan to execute the villain. Well, in this scenario you don't really get to kill off the Naga because, try as you might and diligent as you may be, they respawn out of nowhere. And when you think you have (and should have) the quest target down to a single opponent, all of a sudden 6 or 8 slimeball Naga will attack you from all directions other than from in front of you. So, the quest doesn't play within ordinary parameters. Plus, Bomaswandi is a real jackass, ragging you for dying in that phony Caribbean accent. It's hateful. In an honest game the situations play out within the expected parameters; when Blizz violates its own rules (apparently so some geek with adhesive tape holding his glasses together can get a good laugh out of it), Blizz presents (and not for the first time) a DISHONEST game scenario. I don't mind dying, I don't mind having to bend my head around tricky tactical situations, but I do mind when a quest is set up to defeat you regardless of tactical choices. This is one such quest.
OK. Enough with the badinage, here's how it plays now. Unless you're maybe a L300 Mage, Shaman or Shadow Priest, you aren't going to have much of a chance playing this one Solo. I came close 2 or 3 times, but the Naga gang cut me down every time. It may not be impossible for a Solo to defeat both the Tidecaller and the brute, but I can't see it. If you have a party with you, it won't be hard; let your party watch out for the Naga, put one on the brute just to keep him busy, and wipe out Tidecaller yourself. The key is to stay in close so her bombs and bolts don't have room to work. So attack, use your powerup shouts and such, keep whatever regeneration skills you have hard at work, and stay on her. If you don't have a party, then the best I can suggest is the way I finally got through it, which was to run around killing Naga until another adventurer showed up, and attack as an impromptu party. Took about 30 seconds to get it done that way. And best of all? You won't have to listen to too much of Bomiswanda's snarky BS. Happy hunting!
L70 shadowpriest - took him 2nd time solo - just keep moving and dot him down :)

Description
Nezara's shield might be down, but that doesn't mean she's defenseless. There's a brute by her side that may cause trouble. I'll take a stab at him so you can take down the Tidecaller.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Destroying the Source
Tidecaller Nezara is running the show. If we take her out, the remaining naga will break rank, but getting to her won't be easy. She's protected by a magical barrier that's drawing power from powercells nearby. If we can destroy the source, we can destroy Nezara.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Threat Contained
That should keep those naga down! You can have the honor of telling Bladeguard Sonji that the threat to Zuldazar's coast has been contained.
