It is clearly a reference to Terminator and to be more precise to T2, take note of rings flavor text, is almost what terminator says to John about T-1000, the axe is called of Judgment day as per the title of Terminator 2. The 3rd item is a pun from what i can think to the producers of 3rd and 4th installments of the franchise which kinda failed in what 1st and 2nd movies set as a standard.

The Discontinuer's Hammer would be a pun on the terminator name I think. Hence D-1000 rather than T-1000. (Discontinuer-1000 vs Terminator-1000 in case anyone's not following)
"Minion of Blue" anyone get that? Others were like "Minion of Ragnaros"

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Durnholde Challenge: Infernus
According to the guide, Infernus is your next challenge. This being, made of molten lava and raging fire, can be found on the lower level of Durnholde Keep, near the eastern prisons.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Haunting in Hillsbrad
The battle over Dun Garok was the bloodiest of all the Hillsbrad battles. The dwarves, outnumbered ten-to-one, fought until the bitter end. Every last one of 'em died in defense of that piece of land. Now I hear claims that the place is haunted. Nobody wants to go near it!
