The Second Sample

The Second Sample is an Alliance-only quest for level 1-30 in Bloodmyst Isle. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Now that we have the baseline crystal, we're going to need samples from more dangerous areas of the island to complete the set I'll be sending to the Exodar.

The next sample must come from the crystals controlled by the blood elves in the Bladewood area to the northwest of Blood Watch. I have heard reports that they alter and harvest the crystals for use in some magical apparatus. See if you can find one that has not yet been incorporated into one of their devices, and mine a sample from it.

I have uploaded 2 screenshots one of which shows what the Altered Bloodmyst Crystal looks like. The other is a map showing the location of the Altered Bloodmyst Crystal. The grey arrow on the map is the exact location you need to be to find it.

You have to click the Crystal Mining Pick in your inventory to interact with the Altered Bloodmyst Crystal.

The naaru vessel that brought the draenei to Azeroth. Though stranded in the Azuremyst Isles, it acts as a home city for this noble race.

Reputation group: Alliance.
