This is just a simple weekly quest that unlocks every Tuesday (presumably at the same time the conquest points reset and raids unlock). Just pick it up in the Tol Barad Peninsula and win a Tol Barad battle, you have all week to do so.
2023. I don't PVP and had no experience in winning a battle ground area. Here's what I did as Alliance.
* Travel the Bridge from Tol Barad Peninsula (south) to Tol Barad (north).
* If Horde controlled and you are Alliance, it will tell you how long til next battle. You will not be flagged for PVP until next battle starts. (RP server)
* When the battle starts you are teleported back to the bridge.
* Soloing (how I did it). Go to Ironclad Garrison (north), stand on flag that appears, wait for it to turn white (neutral) then your faction. Repeat with Wardens Vigil (SW then up the stairs) and then Slagworks (SE). Three flags in 12 minutes. Doable if a dead server :)
* It will tell you that your faction is now in control at the end of the 12 mins, and you run from the bridge to Baradin Hold centre of map(next to raid), pick up 6 additional quests now the NPCs have turncoat!
* Raid (next to B in Baradin Hold) is now open, kill the 3 bosses for 400 rep each. Portal next to raid is now your faction portal.
