TheWoWDBQuite timely to complete this quest (as of Beta v.5.0.1). Bright blue water globules spawn at the water surface. To gain quest credit (for collecting 5 [item=73799]) you must interact with the item. Wow gives you a glowing 'hand' to click the object.

Description
If any Alliance naval forces have come ashore, the smoky fires from your crash will lead them right to you and what remains of your crew. There must be a way to extinguish those flames... This barrel seems to have survived the catastrophe intact. Perhaps it's still water-tight. Only one way to find out!
