Xiao, the Eater

Xiao, the Eater is a quest for level 10-35 in The Jade Forest. It is step 25 of 39 in The Jade Forest, Dawn's Blossom & Tian Monastery & Nectarbreeze Village storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Jade Forest at 43.2, 24.8. It rewards 4,800 experience and money.

Description

You may have already met my best student, Xiao, at the banquet tables. I personally would have graduated him several times over, but Instructor Xann insists that he needs more discipline.

If you ask me, discipline means very little if you win every fight you enter. I'm curious to see if Xiao can keep his streak alive against you.

And sometimes these mobs just bug and show grey like someone else tagged them.
Just run out of his range down the stairs or something and let him reset if you don't want to fight him twice. Come back in range after his reset and immediately start combat again. No talking necessary.

Once you accept the quest from Master Stone Fist, head up the short staircase to the north and you should see Xiao near the tables. He is a friendly mob until he is challenged. He has 474K health, and will give up once he reaches zero health.

After defeating Xiao, return to Master Stone Fist to complete this quest.

The jinyu are long-standing allies of the pandaren, and we welcome any of their kind into our monastery. Husshun, one of their elder shaman, is one of our newest trainees. His skills as a monk are mediocre at best, but he is still a fierce combatant.
