Crafting estimate at current listings
At current lowest listed prices one craft shows an estimated profit of 4 gold52 silver, but the crafted item’s listing is far from its 30-day median (see below).

- 98 silver
- Items per craft
- 7
- Listed value of one craft

- 34 silver30 copper
- Estimated profit at that listed price

- Evidence: 10 current listings holding 180 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.
- Outlier: the crafted item’s lowest listing is 7.5 times its 30-day median of 13 silver, so this estimate rests on a listing far above its usual level.
- Items per craft: the game’s spell data creates 7 per craft, so the listed value of one craft is that many times the lowest listed price.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Fighter Chow cost 1 gold99 silver. Most of that is Cursed Queenfish - 5 at 37 silver each, 1 gold85 silver, 93.0% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 2 gold9 silver per craft, 29 silver92 copper per item at 7 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 98 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 4 gold87 silver; the Auction House would keep 34 silver30 copper of a sale, leaving 4 gold52 silver. That is an estimated 227.5% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 7.0% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 180 units across 10 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
