Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Fighter Chow cost 1 gold99 silver. Most of that is Cursed Queenfish - 5 at 37 silver each, 1 gold85 silver, 93.0% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 2 gold9 silver per craft, 20 silver95 copper per item at 10 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 99 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 7 gold91 silver; the Auction House would keep 49 silver50 copper of a sale, leaving 7 gold41 silver. That is an estimated 372.6% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 6.3% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 133 units across 8 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
