Where you hear it

ui_raidbosswhisperwarning.ogg is the personal counterpart to the raid boss emote. Encounters use boss whispers to tell one player that they have the bomb, the debuff or the beam, and this cue makes sure that player notices. Its 'ui_' prefix marks it as a newer interface file than the original raid warning sounds. Because it only plays when something is about you specifically, it carries more urgency than its length suggests. That personal framing fits a direct-message alert away from the game too.

TriggerPlays when an encounter sends a boss whisper to a single player, usually to say a mechanic has targeted them.

Alarm

As an alarm, Raid Boss Whisper Warning was built to be heard over game audio, and it loops without a gap until you are up.
