Tooltip

Blesses a party or raid member, granting immunity to Physical damage and harmful effects for 10 sec.

Cannot be used on a target with Forbearance. Causes Forbearance for 30 sec.

Shares a cooldown with Blessing of Spellwarding.

How it works

It works on charges (charge category 1392); the charge count and recharge time live in a client table the datamine does not carry, so they are not stated here. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1.

Blessing of Protection is built from 4 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 4.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 87.
  4. Effect 4 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 31.

What it does

Blessing of Protection is a Holy spell with an instant cast, a range of 40 yards and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the invulnerable mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
