Far Sight

I was talking to a GM today about how the spell randomly cancels while chain casting it. I was told that the intended design of the spell was not to be used in that manner, and therefore is considered a bug. By chain-casting this spell it is considered exploiting a bug and I guess is theoretically bannable, but the GM I was talking to had no issues with me exploiting the bug since it isn't game-breaking. The conversation with the GM started because of my character violating the name policy (Salty Seamen). Apparently Seamen is a homonym for male reproductive fluid, but alas after much reasoning with him (explaining how my name referred to a commercial fishing boat from Alaska, and not male reproductive fluid) I was forced to change my name =(

Just found out it can be used for http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=1206 and http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=2557 withouh need to travel anywhere :) just find where creature live, chain-far-sight there, and love it :)

I didn't realize other players could see this spell's effect until I started putzing around in Duskwood with my Troll shaman today. I was testing the outer boundary of chaincasting when I decided to take a peek inside the Darkshire tavern from the nearby hillside.

I ended up spending the next fifteen minutes watching a pair of hunters chase the glowing light around the town. I'm still giggling. Next stop, Goldshire!
