How it works
Heat Wave is built from 4 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 35 per tick. It ticks every 1 sec, 5 times over the full 5 sec (175 base in total).
- Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 1 sec, 5 times over the full 5 sec. It triggers spell id 413599.
- Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 260.
- Effect 4 is effect type 132, which the datamine does not name.
What it does
Heat Wave is a Fire and Shadow spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 5 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 1 sec and applies an aura.
Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
