I do not believe giving veteran players horrifying flashbacks of Grinding [item=32572]'s is appropriate for an Achievement, even if the Monument looks epic.

We get roughly 800-900x[currency=823] a day via a daily objective, 1500x[currency=823] via a weekly quest, occasionally 50x[currency=823] by some Garrison Work-Orders and it's presumed that we will also get 100-200 per Dungeon Boss.

Based on this, we should easily manage to get this achievement within a couple of months. (Updated due to achievement changing from 25k to 100k)

As of 6.1, it's possible to buy 'missives' from Sergeant Crowler for 300 Garrison Resources a piece, which allow you to do an apexis daily of your choice. These missives have no cooldown, and reward 800 crystals a piece. If you have a mage tower portal to Nagrand, I highly recommend doing the Broken Precipice a few times, as the ogres there will drop a few waystones for mage tower work orders, in addition to artifacts for a little bonus Steamwheedle reputation while you're at it.

I had been doing pretty good at keeping up with the dailies, did ten missives in a row, got my monument. Mage tower work orders definitely help, too. The end result is that this monument was made much, much easier to obtain if you're willing to put in the legwork, and was the first one I managed to get because of it.
