Mythic: High Botanist Tel'arn

Soloing this boss on Mythic difficulty at level 120 is a challenge, even with a lot of gear. It involves a couple of DPS checks which you have to meet.

This encounter consists of three individual bosses: [npc=109040], [npc=109041] and [npc=109038].
These individual bosses DO NOT share health and should be killed one-by-one in a specific order.

2. [npc=109040] should be killed first, as he uses [spell=218502] on you. This applies a stack debuff on you and does more and more damage as time goes on; this is the primary DPS check. You have you manage to kill the Arcanist before the damage from [spell=218502] kills you.

4. [npc=109041] should die next. He will apply a root to you ([spell=218304]) that will apply ever increasing damage to you the longer you are rooted. For some classes like Druids, shifting out of the root isn't an issue. If you do NOT have an ability that allows you to do this, you will need a Draenic Living Action Potion. This will allow you to break the root, and ultimately will not allow you to remain unrooted (as [spell=218304] will be reapplied shortly after again), but will reset the ticking damage from the root. Use it when you feel the damage is getting unbearable.

   • Note that Draenic Living Action Potion will share a cooldown with combat potions. If you intend to use this to get out of the root, then you can pre-pot, but don't use another potion during the encounter.

6. [npc=109038] should be killed last. By this point you will start taking more damage from the second [spell=218304], so the secondary DPS check will be killing the boss before you die from this.
