TheWoWDBI've found the easiest way to do this fight is to always stand on a fuse. It's a lot easier than focusing on when the other fuses are going to go off. As long as you're always positioned on a fuse, you won't be insta-gibbed by a cannon.
It is also worth noting that some fuses seem to burn up faster than others, so try to stand on a fuse that's on the slower side.

Does anyone else feel like he has way too much health in this iteration? Unless there's some sort of damage amp that I'm missing. I couldn't get the cannons to damage him either.
This fight is ridiculously buggy. I've been killed several time by adjacent cannon shots while standing on an unlit fuse.
